![]() Turret front: 120mm 30deg = 240mm effectiveĮxcept for the stats of the 120mm / gun handling, everything is historically accurate to the documentation. not to mention we don't have a tier 8 premium HT for the British yet. It doesn't resemble any of the other British tanks in its design and would look out of place in the tech tree, so it makes sense for it to be a premium. But I would say it fits much better as a premium because of that pike-nose. Hundreds of Russian tanks are thought to have been destroyed. The effective frontal armour value is about the same and the lower frontal plate is just. Russian tanks with their tops blown off are just the latest sign that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine isn’t going to plan. Now I'm sure many people would like more then nothing to finally have the Chieftain brought into the game at the top of its own min or full line in the British tech tree and sure this design could be used there. Instead of having a pike nose, its only sloped vertically. Since the IS-6 proved to have no significant advantages over IS-2 and its rival IS-4, in November 1944, they decided to dramatically upgrade the tank. Now, The Chieftain prototype I'm suggesting for a slot as the tier 8 premium is the pike-nosed design. I guess I'll start with the obligitory: "Everything here is theory crafting and is in no way confirmed.
